Date:09/22/2010This election cycle, voters won't need to leave their home to vote early. A law passed in 2009 allows any Illinoisan to request and vote using an absentee ballot.
Early voting by absentee ballot begins Thursday, September 23. Ballots can be requested until October 28 by mail and November 1 in person. Mailed absentee ballots must be postmarked no later than midnight on the night prior to the election.
